How we process personal data

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LinkEase LLC (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use MyPortDay (website and related services). It is intended to meet transparency requirements under the GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.

1. Data controller

LinkEase LLC

30 N Gould St Ste N

Sheridan, WY 82801

United States of America

Email: kontakt@meinlandgang.de

2. Overview

We process personal data where necessary to operate our website, provide user accounts, sell and unlock digital tours and packages, support customers, and keep our services secure and reliable.

  • Providing the website and core functionality
  • Account registration and sign-in (email link login)
  • Managing purchases and unlocks (entitlements)
  • Communicating with you (e.g. login links, support)
  • Processing payments through payment providers

3. Categories of data

  • Account data (e.g. email address, Firebase user ID)
  • Usage data (e.g. pages visited, access time, device/browser information in technical logs)
  • Contract and purchase data (e.g. products bought, unlock status, transaction IDs)
  • Communication data (e.g. support requests)
  • Payment-related data (primarily processed by the payment provider; we typically do not receive full card numbers)

4. Purposes and legal bases

Depending on context, processing is based on the following GDPR legal bases:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — contract performance and pre-contractual steps
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests (operation, security, fraud prevention)
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — legal obligations (e.g. retention where applicable)
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent where we explicitly ask for it

5. Recipients and service providers

We use carefully selected providers. They may process data on our behalf or as independent controllers (e.g. payment processing):

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication, database, hosting functions) — Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA
  • RevenueCat (purchase handling, entitlements, app/web purchases) — RevenueCat, Inc., USA
  • Paddle (payment processing as merchant of record via RevenueCat Web) — Paddle.com Market Ltd.
  • Resend or comparable email provider (transactional emails such as login links)

6. International transfers

Some providers are located in the United States or process data there. Transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses where no adequacy decision applies.

Further details are available in each provider’s privacy documentation.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law.

Account and purchase data are generally kept for the duration of the customer relationship and beyond only where legally permitted or necessary (e.g. proof of unlocks).

8. Cookies and local storage

NEEDS_LEGAL_REVIEW — We use technically necessary cookies or similar technologies where required for login, session management, consent storage, and security.

Firebase Authentication may store session information in your browser (e.g. IndexedDB) to keep you signed in.

We store your consent choice locally (localStorage) so we do not re-show the banner unnecessarily and only load optional services after approval.

Optional statistics and marketing technologies are activated only after consent via our banner — no optional statistics, marketing or comfort services are active today. Details: Cookie Policy at /en/cookie-policy. You can change settings anytime via “Privacy settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics and marketing pixels are technically prepared but not active yet.

9. Mandatory data

Certain data (especially a valid email address) is required to create an account, complete purchases, and unlock content. Without it, we cannot provide these services.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

11. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

12. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements, or providers change. The current version is always published on this page.
